"All the News in Fits"

 March 30, 2004

Note: Laurel Creek Park is undergoing renovation into June. The Fairfield Tournament will be held at Alan Witt Park.

If you're coming from central Contra Costa County, take 680 north across the Benicia Bridge, and continue on 680 until it hits 80.

The Fairfield Indians play their home games and hold their tournaments Alan Witt Park in Fairfield, about 50 miles north of San Francisco (approx. 1 hr 15 minutes, depending on the traffic).

Alan Witt Park:

From the south:

North on 80 toward Sacramento. Before hitting the main part of Fairfield, take the Rio Vista Highway 12 Exit east (to the right) toward Suisun City. You should see the Budweiser Brewery on the right. From 12 going east, make a left at the first signal onto Beck Avenue, and right on Woolner to the parking lot next to the field.

From the north: Take I 80 west toward San Francisco. At Fairfield take the W. Texas exit and go straight on the frontage road past the Shell station and Chucky

Cheese. At the signal light turn left onto W. Texas. At the 2nd signal light turn right on to Beck. Go down to the 2nd signal light and turn right on Woolner. Field is 2 blocks down on your left.
