Venus de Mascot
This is the 25th anniversary of the San Francisco Angels Baseball Team. At today's meal, we celebrate our longevity and give praise to our team mascot- no! not Hack Wilson, that's our team logo. Our mascot is the voluptuary Venus of Willendorf, a sensitive rendering of the salient aspects of the female form, which was even more scintillating at that time when men were ugly, smelly, fat, and stupid beasts in search of the perfect match. Why even today... |
